CFR started to play in the Romanian Cup in the Last 32 round against FC Sacele (League 2) in September 26th. Score: 3-0 (Muresan, Fabbiani, Jose).
In the Last 16 round CFR eliminated Jiul Petrosani (League 2) by 1-0 (Didi)on December 5th 2007.
In Quarter finals on February 28th our team won 1-0 against League 2 leader FC Brasov after extra-time by 1-0 (Ruiz).
In the semifinals CFR defeated Dacia Mioveni by 3-0 (Ruiz(2), Dani)
